About the GFWC Junior Woman’s Club of Lakeland

Who We Are

The Junior Woman’s Club of Lakeland is a non-profit, volunteer organization serving the greater Lakeland area since 1928. We provide our members with training and experience in volunteer community service as well as personal friendships. Through hands-on service projects, fundraising, and community involvement, the Junior Woman’s Club of Lakeland strives to make a positive impact while also fostering lifelong friendships.

Our Story

Our club is a member of the General Federation of Women’s Clubs, which is an international volunteer organization and the GFWC Florida Federation of Women’s Clubs.

The General Federation of Women’s Clubs is an international women’s organization dedicated to community improvement by enhancing the lives of others through volunteer service. Collectively, we are Living the Volunteer Spirit.
